Meet the Team

Todd Hagler
Todd has two children Kyle, 17 and Meadow 7. He is our newest addition to Riverchase Homes. He has over 15 years experience in framing and knows the ins and outs of house building. His experience has been a key element in coordinating schedules for efficiency during the building process.  Todd understands the excitement and anticipation our clients feel when building a house and his focus is to get them into their dream home in a timely manner.

Chris Downing
Chris and his wife of 20 years, Krista, have two children. He is a lifelong resident of Smiths Station, Alabama and graduated from Smiths Station High School in 1992. Chris grew up in construction. His grandfather was a superintendent for a commercial building company in nearby Columbus, Georgia. Chris has a background as a residential builder and superintendent with experience with  heavy machinery and construction. He opened his own business, Eagle Grading, and began grading lots for builders all over the Phenix City, Columbus and Auburn areas. He went to work full time for Dan and Riverchase Homes in 2009. Chris puts his heart and soul into every house he oversees just like he would if it were his own.

Jimmy Dykes
Jimmy is married to Renee with three children. He is also a licensed builder with over 15 years experience in all aspects of building. He listens to how the homeowners envision their home and communicates this with the subcontractors throughout the building project. His mission is to bring the projected home into a reality for his clients.

Dan Kennefick, Owner
Dan and his wife Jennifer have two sons. Dan and his family are members of First Baptist Church of Opelika. Dan has over 20 years of experience in homebuilding. His pride in every house is evident through the hundreds of happy homeowners and many referrals throughout the years. He works diligently on his custom designs to bring new and exciting ideas into the housing industry. His workmanship can been seen in Ft Mitchell, Phenix City, Smiths Station, Salem, Opelika, Auburn, and Montgomery.
